How the calculation works
It's simple math, but it's the math people get wrong: the deadline isn't the renewal date — it's the renewal date minus the notice period.
Renewal date − notice period = the last day you can give notice.
A contract renewing on 1 March with a 60-day notice period must be cancelled by 31 December. Wait for 1 March and you've already renewed. This calculator does that subtraction for you and counts the days from today.
